Ni-MH AAA DECT Cordless Phone Batteries

Batteries in DECT handsets lose their capacity over time and need to be replaced to maintain talk / standby time and general operation.
Under normal use handset batteries should last between 1-3 years and are capable of being re-charged at least 500 times.
Generally Ni-MH (Nickle-metal hydride) batteries are much better at dealing with the charging cycles of cordless phones because they don't suffer from the memory effect like Ni-Cd (Nickel Cadmium) which causes them to lose their capacity if they are not fully discharged regularly and are better for the environment.
When selecting a replacement battery it is worth referring to your phones user guide to obatin the correct capacity. Some models will state a minimum capacity of battery that should be used, by installing higher capacity batteries you will benefit from improved standby and talk time although it may take longer for them to reach full charge.
When batteries are at the end of their life some DECT handsets may show that their batteries are charged but then switch off when a key is pressed or when they ring for an incoming call, others may not show full charge even after being on the base for several hours or not charge at all.

Our own range of AAA batteries are sourced from respected manufacturers in the industry to provide long life and performance that will equal or exceed the ones originally supplied by the manufacturer.
They are suitable for use in a large range of DECT cordless phones and other electronic devices.
We are also currently able to offer a undersized 550mAh AAA battery with a longer tip suitable for handsets in which standard batteries will not fit such as the BT Studio 1100 / 1550 and Freelance XD.
